Friday Inspiration: Band Camp!

Some inspiration from Cincinnati Band Camp

Hi friends,

I missed Tuesday’s weekly letter because I’ve been at the Cincinnati New Horizons Band Camp all week. It’s being held in a beautiful convention center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on the Ohio River. This is my sixth New Horizons Band Camp and I highly recommend them to any and all adult amateur musicians. It is a beautiful week of camaraderie, music-making, and fun. To inspire you as you begin the summer, here is a video Katie recorded last night at dinner of the woodwind choir I’m leading here performing “You’ll Be Back” from the musical Hamilton. This group did an awesome job, considering they only had two rehearsals with this piece!
