Currently, I'm attending shows at the MTL jazz festival, some indoors and some free outdoors. I'll be attending Branford Marsalis's concert next week. Tomorrow night my wife and I will see Samara Joy and I'll be attending a tribute/gala concert for Oscar Peterson. He would have turned 100 this year. My jazz teacher will be performing at that gala. Last night I saw Rhiannon Giddens at Place Des Arts. One year you and Katie have to come to the Montreal Jazz Festival. Its getting very popular and bigger and bigger....
Lots of hoops and mistypes to wade through. Not your fault. I don’t generally open random stuff in my email box. But yours I did. I live in Concord NH USA and the cd title jumped out at me. I have a full story to attach and wil if you’d like it. I just want to share Richard Gardzina with you. He has three cds in his repertoire and has recently suffered a stroke which left him sort of stranded when it comes to mobility but not when it comes to writing new music. Without looking or remembering, his cds are all him. Musicians helped out. They are: PLAY THIS, WHERE WORDS DO NOT GO, and one more I am forgetting the title of.
